Vivid
01Highest saturation, alive across the room. The stone the market remembers.
Emeralds, rubies and sapphires — natural, untreated where possible, always accompanied by an independent laboratory report. Each stone is examined in hand before it enters the cabinet of the house.

A colored stone is judged first as a natural object — its color, its cutter's decisions, its country of origin — and only then against a laboratory report. Nothing enters the cabinet on paper alone.
No synthetic, no lab-grown, no imitation. Only natural stones, always.
Every heat treatment, oil or filling disclosed in writing on the invoice — including its absence, which is often the point.
Colombian emeralds, Burmese and Mozambican rubies, Kashmir and Ceylon sapphires — origin documented by an independent lab.
Saturation, tone and life read across the room. Carat is a consequence of quality, never its objective.
Buying a natural gemstone is an act of trust. The house makes that trust explicit — the same protections apply to a first collector and to a returning private client.
SSEF, Gübelin, GRS, AGL or GIA — the report leaves with the stone, in original form.
Heat, oil, filling — or their absence — stated on the invoice itself, not in a footnote.
Study the stone at home, under your own light, with your own advisors. Full refund, no questions.
FedEx Priority / Brinks, door-to-door, insured to full replacement value at the house's cost.
The house will always quote to repurchase or place its stones on private consignment for existing clients.
Nothing in this section constitutes financial advice or a guarantee of appreciation.
A stone from the cabinet is never delivered alone. Six items travel with it — the paperwork you expect, and the small rituals that make ownership feel considered.
In its dedicated cotton-lined case, seal intact.
Original document from SSEF, Gübelin, GRS, AGL or GIA.
House statement, signed, restating what the lab and invoice already say.
Compact record — cutter, region, year, entry to the cabinet.
Full insured value declared; tracking held privately.
Discreet, without exterior branding — for the collector, not the vitrine.
A short vocabulary of natural species the house works with most closely. Each family is presented with its origin, character and where it belongs in a collection.
The house grades color before it grades size. Four descriptors are used consistently across every species — a simple vocabulary shared with the client.
Highest saturation, alive across the room. The stone the market remembers.
Full saturation with slightly softer tone. Extremely wearable, collector-relevant.
Darker tone, dense pigment. Formal, evening character.
Lower saturation, luminous transparency. Contemporary and delicate.
Grades are house descriptors used alongside — not in place of — the independent laboratory color language.
Six regions, six long-standing relationships. The atlas is not marketing — every pin corresponds to a partner the house has worked with for years.
Illustrative locations — indicative only, not a geopolitical map.
Every stone the house admits has a documented path. Four stages, each with a name, a place and a date — the ledger travels with the stone for its entire life.
Country, region and, where possible, the specific mining office. Colombian Muzo, Burmese Mogok, Mozambican Montepuez.
The workshop that read the rough and made the decisions. Named where the cutter permits.
SSEF, Gübelin, GRS, AGL or GIA — country of origin, treatment, dimensions and weight, on record.
Photographed, weighed and logged into the house cabinet before offer. Every stone has an internal reference.
Price is a function of color, origin, treatment and clarity — never of size alone. The ranges below are indicative starting points for reference-quality material; every individual stone is quoted personally.
USD, ex-VAT, indicative only — not an offer. Final quotation depends on the individual stone and its documentation.
From investment-grade discipline to the singular collector's stone, choose the path that best matches your intention.
Emerald, ruby and sapphire in classic proportions, unheated where quality permits, with SSEF / Gübelin / GRS reports.
Fine origin (Kashmir, Muzo, Mogok), unusual colors, historically significant material.
Stones sourced privately to a specific brief — species, origin, size, color and budget.
A short list of stones most recently admitted by the house. Some are already reserved; the ledger is updated weekly.

Three notes from clients who allowed us to share them, anonymized to protect their privacy — as every SOSNA Diamonds relationship remains.
“The Muzo emerald arrived exactly as it was described on the video call — and the SSEF report was in the case, not promised for later. That is rarer than the stone itself.”
“I asked for an unheated Burmese ruby above three carats. Three months, one honest email a week, and a stone I would not have found on any showroom floor.”
“What I paid for was documentation and discretion. What I received was a gemologist who called me back on a Sunday to walk through the Gübelin report line by line.”

Nine answers the house gives most often, kept short. Every other question is welcome — a senior gemologist will answer in person.
Yes. Fully insured, door-to-door via FedEx Priority or Brinks, from Prague to any address worldwide. All duties and import formalities are handled by the house on request.
It means the ruby, sapphire or spinel has never been thermally enhanced. It is verified by an independent laboratory (SSEF, Gübelin, GRS, AGL). Unheated stones are considerably rarer and are always declared on the report and on the invoice.
Origin on high-value colored stones is confirmed by trace-element analysis and inclusion study at a first-tier laboratory — SSEF, Gübelin or GRS. The house accepts these origin calls only when they appear on the original report; regional attributions without a lab statement are never used.
Colombian emeralds are traditionally stabilized with cedar oil, and this treatment can gently fade after years of wear. Routine re-oiling by a qualified workshop restores clarity without altering the stone. The house arranges this service for its clients, at cost.
Above USD 25,000 the price is quoted individually and settled by bank transfer against a pro-forma invoice. Card payments up to USD 25,000 are accepted for approved clients.
Yes — and it is encouraged. On request the house recommends a GIA-affiliated appraiser in your city; the 14-day examination period is extended to accommodate a written independent appraisal before you decide.
Yes. Every acquisition includes a 14-day quiet examination period — study the stone at home, in your light, with your advisors. Full refund, no questions.
Yes. A stone can be placed on private hold for up to seven days while paperwork, appraisal or a viewing is arranged. Longer holds by written agreement.
No. The house trades only natural gemstones and natural diamonds. Laboratory-grown, synthetic, imitation and glass-filled material is never offered — under any circumstance.

Enquiries at SOSNA Diamonds are not routed. They are read, priced and answered by the same senior gemologist who examined the stone in the first place — always in strict confidence.

“I would rather refuse a beautiful stone with an ambiguous origin than sell it. Every gem in the cabinet has passed through my hands — that is the only guarantee that matters.”
